But the all the subliminal messages that pop songs send out to women, I’ll try to make sure that they still get through
And in the spirit of masculinity, I felt that being subtle would be inherently wrong

This song was written hoping there’d be a really fit girl in the front row
And she'd put her hand up, I'd sing my song, it would be really romantic
But unfortunately you were just too keen when you put your hand up

Now it would look unprofessional to stop being a musician
