SEATTLE — Juggalos, those ever-popular Internet punching bags, may be responsible for an odd burglary at a South Park senior-living facility that officers were unable to respond to thanks to the May Day goings-on elsewhere
According to the Seattle Police Department’s report for the incident, a resident living in the facility in the 9200 block of Second Avenue Southwest heard a noise outside her apartment around 10:30 p.m. May 1
She later told officers she looked out her peephole to see a man trying to pry open the storage room’s door
When the resident opened her door, the would-be burglar ran off toward the exit, according to the report. The resident followed and found a book propping the door open
Here’s where it gets a little weird
After the resident closed the outside door, the alleged burglar returned, knocked on the door and asked to be let back inside. The resident opened the door for him, told him she was a security guard for the senior-living facility (possibly true), and escorted him to the lobby where there is a security camera
She later told officers she thought the man may have been the twin brother of a former burglar who is currently in prison
