The tragedy of Julius Caesar shows Cassius personal and political beliefs. Cassius hated the ruler (Document B). This shows Cassius did not favor having a king. Therefore, it is obvious that Cassius hated and didn’t want a ruler. Cassius, a man of fierce disposition, and one that out of private malice, rather than love of the public, hated Caesar (Document B). This shows that Cassius didn’t like Caesar. This is important because Cassius ends up killing Caesar. These example shows why Cassius didn’t like Caesar or the way he ruled.
The tragedy of Julius Caesar also shows the motive behind Cassius choices. Cassius went about soliciting friends to engage in this plot against Caesar, all whom he tried readily consented (Document B).This proves Cassius has selfish motives for his desire to murder Caesar. This is because Cassius didn’t like Caesar. This is important because it’s another selfish motives he has for his desire to murder Caesar. Therefore, it is obvious that Cassius didn’t like Caesar and wanted to kill him. These examples show Cassius motives for his desire to murder Caesar.
As a result, Cassius flees then commits suicide.
