Henry Rollins to człowiek, który nie zadowala się półśrodkami. Lata w Black Flag, potem w Rollins Band, podróże po świecie, kilka książek na koncie – ten człowiek nie zna takiego pojęcia jak „czas wolny”. O tym właśnie jest ten kawałek.
Autor stara się tu pokazać nam, jak łatwo jest wpaść w objęcia kompleksów i problemów, jeżeli chociaż na chwilę opuścimy gardę. Nasza niepewność powoduje, że boimy się podjąć kroki, by sobie pomóc i zamiast tego błąkamy się bez celu, coraz bardziej pogrążając się w rozpaczy. Wydaje się nam, że mamy jeszcze przed sobą długą drogę i wszystko uda nam się kiedyś rozwiązać, a przecież nie jest to prawda. Nigdy nie będziemy wiedzieć, co może się wydarzyć w przyszłości, dlatego nie ma sensu marnować teraźniejszości w nadziei na lepsze jutro.
Liczy się tylko to, co dzieje sie teraz. Dlatego powinniśmy w końcu wziąć nasze życie we własne ręce i dawać z siebie tyle, ile tylko jesteśmy w stanie. Rollins uważa, że w każdym z nas tkwi potencjał, by stawać się coraz lepszym. Wszyscy możemy być bohaterami, zależy to tylko i wyłącznie od nas. Jeżeli damy naszym słabościom przejąć nad nami kontrolę i zaczniemy mieć co do siebie wątpliwości, rzeczywistość wgniecie nas w ziemię w mgnieniu oka.
