Tekst opowiada o żałobie po śmierci bardzo bliskiej osoby. Bohater wszędzie ją „widzi”, tęskni za nią i nie potrafi pogodzić się z jej brakiem. Choć zmarła osoba prosiła go, żeby dalej żył, on czuje się emocjonalnie odrętwiały i nie wie, jak wrócić do normalności. Najbardziej boli go samotność i świadomość, że życie toczy się dalej bez kogoś, kto był jego najważniejszą częścią.
Druga część skupia się na pytaniu, czy po śmierci istnieje dalszy ciąg, czy można ponownie spotkać utraconych bliskich i czy „muzyka dalej gra” gdzieś po drugiej stronie. To daje tekstowi jednocześnie smutny i pełen nadziei charakter.
