W tym utworze Mullins kieruje swoje słowa do „współczesnych faryzeuszy”, ludzi dla których wiara jest narzędziem, sprawiającym że czują się lepsi od reszty ludzki. Świat jest pełen takich bigotów, nie rozumiejących na czym polega prawdziwa religijność. Zamiast szerzyć miłość i „kochać bliźniego swego”, nie potrafią uszanować niczego, co chociaż w małym stopniu odbiega od ich światopoglądu. Innych uważają za gorszych, myślą że mogą oceniać życie otaczających ich ludzi, mówić im co mają robić.
Dla autora takie zachowanie jest wypaczeniem wszystkich wartości, które przyjmuje idąc ścieżką wiary. Nie ma w tym nic związanego z Bogiem, oprócz wykorzystywania Go jako usprawiedliwienia do zwykłej podłości. W rzeczywistości ludzie, o których mowa w tym kawałku są zupełnie zwyczajni, ani trochę nie lepsi od innych. Chcą wierzyć w swoją wyjątkowość, ale tak naprawdę po prostu się okłamują, nie umiejąc otworzyć swoich umysłów. Zatwardziali w swoich poglądach, nie są zdolni do przyjęcia jakiegokolwiek innego punktu widzenia, ślepo przekonani o własnej wartości. To oni żyją w błędzie, nie ludzie których wytykają palcem.
