„The Bones of What You Believe” to tytuł debiutanckiego albumu CHVRCHES, z którego pochodzi utwór „Strong Hand”.
Laura rozkazuje swojemu kochankowi, by wyjaśnił jej, jak się czuje, i ostrzega, że jeśli tego nie zrobi, zaryzykuje zerwanie z nim. Błaga go i okazuje prawdziwą potrzebę, by ich więź była trwała. „Pod moim kciukiem” to idiom, oznaczający „pod moją kontrolą”. To był tytuł przebojowej piosenki zespołu The Rolling Stones.
