Some say that being alone in the dark is dreading
The path that they’re treading seems to be enveloped in shadow
Maybe a shadow of the past, or a shadow of themselves
Unable to make sense of what is and what isn’t
A lack of acceptance for what is and what isn’t
A prison, or so it seems to leave them in bind
But maybe the darkness, is as bright to you, as it is the blind?
