2010, Krit says he’s a Hometown Hero. 2014, he’s the King of the South.

Aight, so on the 4th of November, I copped the leak of Cadillactica, KRIT’s 2nd album, 7 days before the official release date. Now the album definitely felt like a KRIT tape, the incredible KRIT Wuz Here, 4Eva N A Day, Return of 4Eva as well as King Remembered in Time. Some were disapointed by his debut studio album, Live From the Underground, cos it didn’t feel complete. Krit himself said that he wasn’t used to having to clear samples, because samples were a corner stone for his mixtapes’ vibe. Krit has definitely improved musically, and been more independent, not relying on sampling for his complex, dope beats. This album was dope, and had a lot less filler (i dare say, none) than his previous tapes and albums. Imma not do a track by track cos I’m lazy, sorry.

But here are my top 5 favourite tracks on the album: (click on the tates for the reasons)
1. Cadillactica
2. Saturdays = Celebration
3. King of the South
4. Pay Attention
5. Life

A remix version of Mt. Olympus is on the deluxe edition of the album. If that counted, it would be number 1 lmao.
Throughout the album, Krit discusses battling stereotypes, torn relationships, death, southern life, as well as calling himself the King of the South.

Final Verdict:
8.4/10
