„It’s All a Game” jest utworem pochodzącym z długo wyczekiwanego piątego albumu studyjnego Quadeca, zatytułowanego „From Me To You.” Premiera wydawnictwa miała miejsce 31 marca 2021 roku. Piosenka „It’s All a Game” pokazuje Quadeca, który zaczyna zdawać sobie sprawę z tego, że jego życie jest nieistotne, a jego pragnienia są nieograniczone i nienasycone. Nie mogąc osiągnąć poczucia szczęścia, dochodzi do wniosku, że spełnianie kolejnych marzeń czy potrzeb to gra, której nigdy nie pokona.
„From Me To You” to piąty album Quadeca, wydany 31 marca 2021 roku, jednak między ogłoszeniem a wydaniem albumu było wiele opóźnień i wydarzeń. W utworze „SCHOENBURG” z Moxas, Quadeca zapowiedział, że album zostanie wydany na początku 2020 roku. Album został jednak mocno opóźniony z powodu wstrzymania produkcji w wyniku wybuchu pandemii COVID-19.
Pierwszy singiel z albumu, zatytułowany „Where’d You Go?”, Został wydany 8 kwietnia 2020 roku. Piosenka miała agresywne podejście i bardzo popularny, prosty fortepianowy rytm. Drugi singiel, zatytułowany „Alone Together”, ukazał się 29 kwietnia 2020 roku. Piosenka miała bardzo klimatyczne brzmienie. Produkcja zadebiutowała bardzo drastyczną zmianą w stylu Artysty w stosunku do jego ostatniego albumu.
W ostatnim tygodniu stycznia 2021 roku Quad zmienił swoją nazwę na Twitterze i każdego dnia tego tygodnia usuwał jeden znak dzień po dniu. Kiedy nadszedł ostatni dzień – 29 stycznia i zostało jedno emoji gór. Quadeca wydał wtedy oficjalną zapowiedź albumu zatytułowanego „From Me To You – Quadeca.” Video z podkładem instrumentalnym „Summit, Pt. 2 (Outro)” pokazało proces nagrywania albumu z datą premiery 18 marca 2021 roku.
Jednak 8 marca premiera albumu została przesunięta na 31 marca, a Quad ogłosił, że zamiast całego projektu, 18 marca wypuści singiel. Ujawnił również listę utworów na albumie z trzema artystami występującymi gościnnie: IDK, PlayThatBoiZay i Guapdad 4000. Artysta ujawnił również, że oprócz 3 utworów, wszystkie pozostałe 15 piosenek zostało w pełni wyprodukowane przez niego.
Dwa dni przed wydaniem, tytuł ostatniego singla został ujawniony jako „Sisyphus”, ulubiony utwór Quadeca z albumu, jak sam przyznał. Jednak ze względu na problemy z usługami przesyłania strumieniowego wydanie piosenki zostało opóźnione. Teledysk promujący piosenkę wydany został 20 marca, a oficjalna wersja audio trafiła do serwisów streamingowych cztery dni później, to jest 24 marca.
