Analiza piosenki
Piosenka napisana została dla filmu o tym samym tytule (w polskim tłumaczeniu „Smętarz dla zwierzaków”). Wyprodukowany w 1989 roku horror stanowił adaptację powieści Stephena Kinga – prywatnie miłośnika muzyki Ramones. W obrazie wyreżyserowanym przez Mary Lambert słyszymy łącznie dwie kompozycje zespołu; oprócz „Pet Sematary”, obecnego przy napisach końcowych, pojawia się również „Sheena Is a Punk Rocker”.
Utwór opisuje tytułową lokację: przerażający zwierzęcy cmentarz, na którym „tańczą szkielety” a „wilki płaczą”. Narracja wydaje się nawiązywać do sceny z filmu (i książki), kiedy to główny bohater, Louis Creed, prowadzony jest we śnie na cmentarzysko przez uśmierconego wcześniej Victora Pascowa. Tło dla całej sekwencji stanowi „zapach śmierci”, „zimny wiatr”, „nieruchome powietrze” i „księżyc w pełni”; sceneria godna najbardziej klasycznego horroru.
