Tytułowy utwór z piątego albumu Marka Ronsona „Late Night Feelings”, który ukazał się w 2019 roku. W wywiadzie dla The Guardian w lutym Ronson zagrał utwór dla pisarki Alexis Petridis, która na temat piosenki powiedziała: „To naprawdę dobre, mówię mu, bo tak jest. Piosenka, którą gra, to tytułowy utwór z nadchodzącego albumu 'Late Night Feelings’, który waca do starych sztuczek disco, brzmiąc jednocześnie euforycznie i tęsknie. Utwór zawiera również rodzaj chóru – śpiewanego przez Lykke Li.”
Mark Ronson opublikował na Instagramie: „Po długim, bezowocnym dniu pisania i pracy nad niektórymi utworami, które miałem w pobliżu, zdecydowałem, że mam dość i szykowałem się do wyjścia. Z nieco sfrustrowanym, ale także „never say die”, Ilsey pyta, czy chcę spróbować jeszcze jednego pomysłu. W głowie mówię sobie „Nie. Właściwie chcę, żebyś poszedł, abym mógł wrócić do domu i spędzić czas z moimi psami, ale kiwam głową 'ok.’ Zaczynam więc grać kilka akordów i czują się, że są trochę bardziej interesujące niż to, co robiliśmy, a ona natychmiast zaczyna śpiewać tę cudowną, nawiedzoną/ uduchowioną piosenkę, a mi na karku włosy dęba stają. W ciągu pół godziny mieliśmy pierwszą zwrotkę i refren „Late Night.” W ciągu mniej więcej tygodnia Lykke pojawia się w studio i wszyscy kończymy razem pisanie melodii. Kiedy wymyśliła frazę „Late Night Feelings”, od razu wiedziałem, że tak będzie nazywał się ten album.”
Utwór mówi o emocjach, które towarzyszą Podmiotowi mówiącemu w utworze, gdy późną nocą leży w swoim łóżku i tylko wtedy pozwala „wypłynąć na wierzch” swoim prawdziwym uczuciom. Podmiot mówi, że coraz trudniej jest mu kontrolować miłość, którą obdarzył osobę, z którą być nie może. Jest to osoba,którą stracił – najpierw pokazała mu, jak może wyglądać ich życie, następnie to odebrała wraz ze spokojem, który Podmiot wtedy czuł.
