„Twenties” to utwór pochodzący z wydanego 11 marca 2022 roku albumu studyjnego szwedzkiego zespołu heavy metalowego Ghost, zatytułowanego „Impera.” Wydawnictwo ukazało się nakładem wytwórni Loma Vista Recordings. Wcześniej promowały je single „Hunter’s Moon” z 30 września 2021 roku, wydany 20 stycznia 2022 roku „Call Me Little Sunshine” oraz „Twenties” z 2 marca 2022 roku.
Piosenka nawiązuje do lat 20. XX wieku, kiedy pojawiły się faszystowskie reżimy, najsłynniejsze, nazistowskich Niemiec i faszystowskich Włoch, jednocześnie w sposób negatywny wskazując, że lata 20. XXI wieku to także czas agresywnej polityki. Podczas gdy faszystowskie reżimy przyniosły II Wojnę Światową, obecne supermocarstwa także spowodowały wiele konfliktów, takich jak konflikty graniczne ormiańsko-azerbejdżańskie, spór o wpływy rosyjsko-natowskie na Ukrainie oraz utrwalanie ludobójstwa na Palestyńczykach i izraelskiego apartheidu.
Tak na temat piosenki, w jednym z wywiadów, wypowiedział się Tobias Forge: „Ta piosenka ma bardzo agresywny tekst, jest bardzo wroga. Wciąż jest to pogawędka, ale w zasadzie jest poniżająca i otwarcie wyraża nienawiść wobec każdego, kto jej słucha. Obiecuje tylko powietrze, ale zatrute powietrze. A jednak nadal jest to prezent, jako coś, za co powinieneś powiedzieć 'dziękuję.’ To jest jak wiele bzdur, które widzieliśmy przez ostatnie kilka lat.”
W innej rozmowie natomiast tłumaczył: „To maszyna w przebraniu lidera rozmawiająca z liberalnymi ludźmi, bo potrzebujemy ich siły roboczej, a bez nich nie ma społeczeństwa.
