„Amore” to piosenka pochodząca z długo oczekiwanego drugiego albumu studyjnego Bebe Rexha, zatytułowanego „Better Mistakes.” Wydawnictwo ukazało się 7 maja 2021 roku nakładem wytwórni Warner Records. Projekt jest następcą wydanego w 2018 roku debiutanckiego albumu studyjnego Artystki – „Expectations.”
Tak na temat piosenki, w rozmowie dla Apple Music, wypowiedziała się Artystka: „’Amore’ to odwrócenie zwykłego '[That’s] Amore’ – tego, w którym księżyc rzuca się w oczy jak wielki placek z pizzą. Więc odwracamy to i robimy z tego bardziej piosenkę, w której jesteśmy sarkastyczni i mówimy, że kochając mnie, miłość jest jak Versace i diamenty. A powodem, dla którego zaprosiłam Ricka Rossa, jest to, że metrum jest naprawdę inne. Dorastałam, słuchając tej piosenki, i dorastałam, słuchając, jak mój tata śpiewa ją tak źle. To ulubiona piosenka wszechczasów mojego taty.”
Artystka wypowiedziała się na temat całego projektu stwierdzając: „Mój album opiera się na uczciwości, wrażliwości i niepewności oraz mówieniu o tych niepewnościach. […] To jest bardzo mocne. […] Kiedy jesteś w studiu i piszesz z kimś, musisz znaleźć odnieść sukces w czymś, co zdaje się być trudnym. Musisz znaleźć ten moment w którym zaiskrzy. Więc weszłam do studia i napisałam to z Kidem Pablo, U.C i Justinem Tranterem […]. A to, co chcieliśmy zrobić z tym albumem, to naprawdę napisać piosenki, które byłyby oparte na niepewności i wszystkim, przez co kiedykolwiek czułam się zawstydzona lub przerażona. I właśnie to zrobiliśmy na tym albumie.”
