„Fake” to utwór o ludziach, którzy swoją fałszywością i kłamstwami próbują mydlić oczy innym, całe swoje życie budując kosztem otoczenia. Moody zwrca się tutaj do tych, których najbardziej nie jest w stanie zdzierżyć – do pozerów, osób potrafiących tylko gadać, przechwalać się, a gdy przyjdzie co do czego pryskają bez śladu, uciekając przed prawdziwymi problemami.
Kto z nas czasem nie ma dość ludzi myślących, że wszystko wiedzą lepiej podczas kiedy w rzeczywistości to co mówią jest tylko przechwałkami bez pokrycia, pustą gadaniną mającą na celu wywarcie jakiegoś określonego wrażenia. Gdy raz przejrzymy nieszczerość i kłamstwa takich osób, już nigdy nie będziemy w stanie spojrzeć na nich przychylnym okiem. Trudno jednak wbić im czasami do głowy, jak żałośnie się prowadzą i niestety często zdarza się, że zamiast otworzyć oczy innym stajemy się sami ofiarami manipulacji tych, których usiłujemy zdemaskować.
Ivan nie potrafi zdzierżyć tak plugawego zachowania i wprost wyraża tu swoją nienawiść do wszystkich tych sztucznych, nieszczerych zakłamańców. Dla takich ludzi nie ma miejsca w jego życiu i za wszelką cenę chce się ich pozbyć ze swojego otoczenia, pokazując swoją pogardę i brak szacunku do tych, którzy uczciwie na niego nie zapracują.
