Analiza piosenki
W utworze „Halucynogenice” Matt Maeson mówi o swoich problemach. Poprzez halucynogenikę widzi rzeczy, których nie powinien. Opublikował oficjalny teledysk 30 marca 2018 r. Kiedy pisał ten utwór, nie wiedział, że „halucynogenika” nie jest słowem (przynajmniej nie w sposób, w jaki go użył). Halucynogeny są lekami, które mogą powodować halucynacje, anomalie percepcyjne i zmiany w świadomości.
„Halucynogenika” w rzeczywistości nie jest słowem, a Matt jest tego świadomy. „Przyznaje, że głównym powodem, dla którego tak łatwo się nawróciłem, było to, że nie zwierzyłem się nikomu o zmaganiach, z którymi się borykałem, a wszystkie te represje przywróciły mnie z powrotem do „życia”.
Ponieważ jest świadomy tych wszystkich nawyków, wie, że nie będzie dobry dla nikogo, z kim mógłby trwać w związku, i dlatego zachęca osobę, do której skierowana jest piosenka, do znalezienia kogoś innego: idealnego mężczyzny, który może ją wspierać i nie chce być grzesznikiem takim jak on.
