„Paradise” to kawałek opowiadający o terrorystach, samobójczych zamachowcach zabijających ludzi w imię swej religii. Carter jasno wyraża tutaj swoje obrzydzenie takimi osobami. Nienawidzi ich za to, ile cierpienia przynoszą tym, którzy w żadnym wypadku na to nie zasługują. Szydzi z ich religijnych przekonań, uważając że zasłanianie masakry „świętą wojną” jest wyrazem tchórzostwa, zdeprawowania.
Po śmierci tacy ludzie na pewno nie trafiają do żadnego raju, kończą za to jako rozczłonkowane, zmasakrowane zwłoki, pozbawione jakiegokolwiek „bohaterstwa”, czy godności. Frank stwierdza wręcz, że jeżeli jakimś cudem istnieje raj, to żaden fundamentalistyczny terrorysta nie powinien nigdy do niego trafić w nagrodę za swoje czyny. Mordowanie i sianie strachu nie mogą być sposobami na zbawienie, a ludzie którzy w to wierzą są według wokalisty najgorszymi, najbardziej zwyrodniałymi szumowinami jakie stąpają po tej ziemi.
