Interview. #1 The Truth
1. What’s the title of the new album?
The title of my new album is called.. The Truth
2. How did you choose this title?
I chose this title because I felt like I need to say a lot. Now that middle school is over.. I feel like I want to release a lot of things that is so different from what I’ve written in the past. This has been such a learning experience for me and I’m really excited for this next chapter. This is the best I’ve done. The record is called.. The Truth because it represents every single song on the album. All of the songs are honest and truthful. I feel like I’m ready and changed. I’m really proud of this, I just want people to see who I am now, I just want people to see what I feel, I want people to see what the real truth is
3. What track is your favorite?
Well its so hard to pick but Track #6 is my favorite. It changes every week though
4. How many songs are on this album?
They’re 15 songs on this album and 2 bonus tracks. I wanted to write a lot and make sure I put my all into this
5. How many singles will be coming from this album?
Their will be 3 or 4 singles coming from this album
6. When will your first single come out?
My first single is called.. My Heartbreaker feat. Savannah Doherty. Its a collaboration and I’m super stoked about this song. It was a really awesome, interesting.. experience to write with another person especially a close friend like her. Shes a sister to me and this was a dream to write with her. I had so much fun and we ended up writing an incredible song. My Heartbreaker will be coming out in October. No exact day yet
7. What is your first single all about?
My first single is not something I’ve ever been through but its something that I may go through in my lifetime. Its basically about someone who isn’t really around when you need them and it breaks your heart to know their not there with you. Its about the way your heart is turned on for this person but this person could careless. Kind of hard to explain but the lyrics are really simple
8. Any surprises from your first single?
Yes, their is a surprise but I don’t know if I can say yet.. Its really awesome though, did a different style of writing and I hope I’m accepted for what I did in this song
9. Whats the most emotional song on your album?
Track #1 is pretty emotional for me, it was the first song I wrote for this album and that is what started out the record and it inspired the title and other songs from.. The Truth. Lots of the tracks are pretty emotional actually.. It was a roller coaster ride of emotions during this time. I’m okay though, you know, I grew up with my music and I guess I’m just eager for people to hear what I’ve got to say. The Truth is kept in my heart until I’m ready to share.. Now I’m getting ready. I’m prepared cause life is what you make it, this is what I’ve made it.. The Truth. Anger, confusion, jealousy, sadness, growing up, changing, everything.. just went into this album
