Tekst piosenki
Her names Jessica shes only 14 shes just out of middle school/
She’s always happy a big smile on her face/
Until she found out that kids could be so cruel/
She came home after the first day of ninth grade/
She had tears rolling down her cheeks down her face/
She couldn’t find words she didn’t know what to say/
That was the first night she picked up a razor blade/
She cut while she cried hoping it would take all the pain away/
She didn’t cut deep it was only her first time/
She smiled she felt normal for a while/
Until the adrenaline wore off and the feeling came back/
Then once again she puts the razor to her skin while she has an anxiety attack /
And does this every day over and over again/
She does this on a daily basis for 6 months/
She puts on a front with a fake smile and a fake laugh/
She acts like she ignores the kids when they call her whack/
She feels the pain every day from these verbal attacks/
She feels hopeless like she has no meaning in life/
She feels like she has no reason to smile/
Until shes sitting in class and looks to her right/
Thats when she sees a guy who gives her a nice smile/
He says hey my names Jim he gave his number and said text me/
The next day the ate lunch together they hung out all day/
Two weeks later Jim asked her out on a date/
Okay let’s flash forward about a year../
Jessica feels normal once again/
She hasn’t cut once since the day she met Jim/
All she has is white and pink lines that mark up her skin/
One night while eating with him he started acting grim/
Thats when she fell victim to relationship abuse/
He shoved her to the ground kicked her in the ribs with his steel toed boots/
As jessica lies there dazed and confused/
Jims one thing she love is the one thing she can’t lose/
When she gets home she looks at the bruise/
She falls back into depression and pulls out her old tool/
That night she lies on her bathroom floor cuts and starts to cry/
She has no where to turn she smokes a blunt gets high and then decides/
She came to the conclusion that that tonight/
She would commit suicide/
