„Roots in My Boots” to utwór pochodzący z wydanego 25 lutego 2022 roku dziewiętnastego pełnowymiarowego albumu studyjnego legendarnego niemieckiego zespołu rockowo-metalowego Scorpions, zatytułowanego „Rock Believer.” Krążek jest następcą albumu z 2015 roku – „Return to Forever.” Wcześniej wydawnictwo promowały dwa single – „Peacemaker” z 5 listopada 2021 roku oraz wydany 14 stycznia 2022 roku „Rock Believer.”
W rozmowie z Apple Music, Klaus Meine omówił piosenkę w relacji do całego albumu: „Dzięki nowym utworom chcieliśmy wrócić do naszych korzeni. Chcieliśmy po prostu reaktywować oryginalne DNA Scorpions – świetne riffy, mocne melodie. Próbowaliśmy przenieść to uczucie do studia, grając wszyscy razem w jednym pokoju. Po tylu dekadach nadal jesteśmy tak związani z naszą muzyką, a to jest najważniejsza część. To jest właśnie 'Roots in My Boots.'”
