Ten refren wydaje się bardzo prosty w swobodnym słuchaniu, ale idzie nieco głębiej, niż można by się spodziewać. Jest na to kilka interpretacji.
Crywolf mówi o „życiu w ciemności”, kiedy „świat światła” wydaje się bardziej obiecującą sytuacją. Wiąże się to z motywem Halloween i być może Wilk chce, aby jego miłość była prywatna od reszty świata.
